More Personalising Ideas...

Adding your own personal touch is super easy with SoHo products.  They are covered in paper so sticking labels, shapes, fabric, paper cut outs is easy and l will last!

Last week I added a Social Media Women logo to A4 and A5 notebooks for my co-founder Catriona Pollard and had such a great reaction from our online community I thought I would share some more things I have done:

The Address Books needed a little something something - so i cut out some retro flowers and layered them and stuck them down.  This is a really gorgeous idea for a gift, you can choose themes and colours that the receiver loves!

There are Corporate applications too! Once upon a time not so long ago, you had to order a lot of one item to have your logo or name on it – not any more!! You can customise one item.

Adding a project title or business name to a folder and notebook is as easy as grabbing some good double sided tape.

For Social Media Women, I created a folder, a photobox (for business cards and tickets for our lucky door prize) and the notebooks:

Chocolate is such a luscious colour, and I wanted to give it some olde worlde charm so created these torn-edge labels for the notebook and rounded spine folder.

Personalising is Easy & Fun!

After some interest yesterday in our corporate personalisation of our SOHO range (post to come soon!), I just wanted to share a fun thing I do with the SOHO items with you.

SOHO is covered in paper so it is easy to add stickers, glue fabric or other paper to create your own little masterpiece or a little treasure of a gift!!

I love paper punches and have quite a collection!

The flowers are lovely, you can use the sizes and different colours to add dimension & interest.

Hope I have inspired you a little to look beyond the blank cover!

SOHO is currently 50% off RRP. More SOHO information here.

Create fun & inspiration!

SAVE TIME WITHOUT SACRIFICING THE INTENTION!!

SEND THE LOVE TIP!

In the same way that we will send an SMS when we think of something someone would like to know or take a pic on our phone and post it immediately online, it is nice to send a little note or long letter to the people we love and cherish when they pop into our thoughts, at that very moment.

If the thought of going to ‘all the trouble’ of getting an envelope, looking up their address and writing it out is all too overwhelming (c’mon, it is for some!) then we have a great TIP that will help you!!

Pre-prepare your envelopes with names & addresses in bulk.

Ok so you still think this is a bit of a ‘chore’?
We have thought of that too!!
We love using mail merge to print off our envelopes.  Don’t forget to put your address in the top left hand corner of the front then you only need to print one side and you are ready to go!!

Then when you get the urge to share a thought or send some love, you are ready to go!!

LAST TIP for the road:
Buy a pack of cards/envelopes all the same size and then you can pick the card to match the message when you get the urge, too easy!!

Remember:

Sending a little note that says as little as ”Hello, sending you some sunshine, Love Me  xoxo” is all someone needs to put a smile on their face and a glow in their heart!!

Write the World!!

WE MADE: a personalised folder in 7 minutes!

I LOVE Decopatch, really love it!

The design and colours of the papers are great, the glue is strong and it is quick and easy to do small projects!

I give my Magnolia Solutions clients a drop file so that can drop in anything that is relevant to our work together.  Melissa from Stationeryonline www.stationeryonline.com.au  wanted me to give her something that will stand out in her busy office so I thought I would do this.

The Decopatch varnish glue is strong and coats the tissue paper making it durable and giving it longevity.

Must say, I will be doing more of these!  Turned out very nicely and Melissa is happy!

techies still use paper & pens!

@ #nscm last week, I was so happy to see that the tech savvy Kristin Rohan @kristinrohan and my Wordpress master Tony Cosentino @justbecos actually use a notebook and pen as well as their funky little gadgets!!

That’s Tony’s moleskin in the background!

There’s nothing like bits of appers and intersting info re-discovered as you flick thru your book!!

French Paper Clip Embellishments

French design brand, Le The Des Ecrivains are renowned for their flair and focus on the aesthetic aspect of a product.
Le The is now moving into large installation pieces, however, we have the last of their gorgeous journal and accessory range.

One of my favourite products is the 'Attaches' = clips!

They can be used for a variety of things, including a paper clip or paper embellishment:

or linked together to create a gorgeous hanging chain:

The clips are all brass and are available in a variety of shapes; circle, square, triangle, hexagon.

An organza bag holds 50 clips and is packaged in a matching box with gold/silver ink or foil...divine!
